Armenian Innovation Foundation (AIF) is a national mechanism supporting Armenia’s scientific, technological, and industrial development. The Foundation was established to address strategic gaps and opportunities identified through the work of the Science and Technology Development Council under the Prime Minister, which highlighted the need for a dedicated institution to professionally validate and shape innovation initiatives of national relevance.
AIF operates as a neutral, expert-driven platform connecting government, academia, and industry to support the development of coherent, impact-oriented programs across priority technology domains.
The Foundation does not act as a policy-making body or funding agency; instead, it serves as a strategic bridge, ensuring that initiatives with national potential are rigorously evaluated, properly structured, and advanced through transparent governance and continuous expert support.
